Over the years, we at Truworths have built meaningful partnerships with numerous organisations and projects. Instead of merely handing over a cheque, our philosophy has always been to engage with the leaders of each project in an attempt to understand the needs of the people involved. In our experience, this approach builds trust and mutual respect and has enabled us to learn more about the people themselves.

It is also vital to us that we are hands on with all our key projects and that we meet with project leaders regularly, either in our offices or on site, to discuss their requirements, share knowledge and follow up on progress.

Our primary focus has always been on grassroots and youth, specifically in the areas of education, health and social development, sport and arts and culture, where we encourage capacity building, job creation and skills development.

For us it is a case of doing fewer things better, and many of our projects have been running for up to 10 years.
